Our Committee

A Playgroup shaped by our community

Minster Lovell Playgroup is incredibly lucky to have the support of a volunteer parent committee made up of parents and carers who want to help make our Playgroup the very best it can be.

Our committee plays an important role in the running and development of Playgroup. They meet regularly to help support the setting, organise events and fundraising, share ideas and help shape plans for the future.

The committee is elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is open to all parents and carers of children attending Playgroup. The AGM is a chance to reflect on the year gone by, celebrate what we have achieved together and look ahead to the year ahead.

Want to get involved?

Our committee plays a vital role in keeping Playgroup open and running successfully. Without a full committee in place, we are unfortunately unable to continue operating, so having parents who are willing to get involved is incredibly important to the future of our Playgroup.

You don't need to have previous committee experience — just a little time, enthusiasm and a desire to support your Playgroup!

There are lots of ways to get involved, whether that's becoming a committee member, helping at an event, supporting fundraising or simply sharing an idea.

Every bit of help makes a difference, and we really value the time and support our families give to Playgroup.
